Subject	shifter rubber dust guard ripped or torn?

Message	Shift knob getting hot is probably the dust guard on the bottom of the shifter is probably ripped or torn. Is the center console area very hot too? I had the same problem. It's a easy fix and the part is only 5-10 bux.
